MICRO NEEDLING
Also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, professional micro needling treatments provide a safe and effective method of skin revision which can help improve the appearance of texture on the skin, improve scars and post acne scarring, treat hyper-pigmentation, loss of collagen and elastin, as well as other skin concerns, with minimal side effects and down time.
We use a medical grade pen device with very fine needles. These are used to create superficial micro injuries to the top layer of the skin, which triggers the body to release growth factors that create new collagen and elastin.

Is it painful?
Micro needling is not generally a painful treatment and usually doesn't require any numbing cream. The treated area can be red and resemble a mild sun burn for around 2-24 hours post treatment. Your skin may feel slightly sensitive/dry for 1-3 days post treatment, however we do provide products to reduce these symptoms.

What shall I expect after a Micro Needling treatment?
You will have redness, which can be covered up with makeup the day after treatment. Slight redness can remain up to three days and longer in rare cases. During treatment and just after, you may experience pinpoint bleeding; this is a normal response with this procedure. The skin can feel dry, tight or may flake as a normal result of this procedure. This should resolve within a few days. This is a normal response to micro needling treatment. You may moisturise using the provided products more frequently than twice a day if needed. Healing times may vary from client to client. Rejuvenation of the skin may be seen as soon as a week after, however your final result can be noticed around 3-4 weeks after the procedure. Depending on life style and the number of treatments, your results can continue to improve for up to 2 years.
